The Thread Between
Between hope and reality, love is the thread that holds us together.
The Thread Between was born from the hearts of two mothers who know what it means to sit beside a child in a hospital, holding on to hope while facing an uncertain reality.
Our mission is to provide comfort, care, and a connection to home for families from the Tri-State area whose children are hospitalized far from home.
Through thoughtfully prepared care boxes filled with everyday essentials, snacks, and small comforts, we hope to ease one small burden during an incredibly difficult time.
Created in honor of our children, The Thread Between is our way of reminding other parents that even in their hardest moments, they are not alone.

The Meaning Behind Our Symbol
The feather represents hope. The hope we hold on to, even when everything feels uncertain.
The anchor represents reality. The weight of what we face, the difficult moments, and the things beyond our control.
The thread represents connection.
The invisible bond between our children and us, between hope and reality, and between families who understand a journey no parent ever expects to take.

How can you help?
When parents have to go to Sunrise Children's Hospital often times they leave with nothing in a rush to be with their child. What your donations will help us do is provide a bag full of personal items that are needed for an unexpected stay. Personal hygiene items, snack, journal, etc. This is the worst day of a parents life, through this bag of personal care items we are just wanting the parents to know that they aren't alone.
