Riverside Pharmacy - FREE DELIVERY - Ribbon Cutting Today

Kakatiya University in the Indian state of Telagana is where Sathish (Sam) went to school to become a pharmacist. He has called Bullhead City home for the last 15 years. I always wonder how people come to live in Bullhead City, especially when they are from so far away. His story is very unique so let's get to know this man that has served our community for over a decade.

Sathish's father was a pharmacist and as a child he saw how his father was able to help so many people by explaining their medicines and genuinely caring about their well-being. He grew up admiring his father and wanted to follow in his footsteps so he went to school to become a pharmacist and Walgreens recruited him directly out of India.

He has worked for Walgreens here in Bullhead City, AZ for the last 15 years, but when corporate policies were not allowing him to offer the best customer service he decided to open his own pharmacy along with a Walgreens co-worker Shannon that came to work with him.

Sathish met and married his wife in India and they have two little boys their eldest son goes to MALC, plays soccer, practices piano and karate. His youngest is still a toddler. They are raising their family here in Bullhead.

Sathish was all smiles today as his little pharmacy which is nestled at the end of a business complex on Hwy 95 2410 Highway 95 Bullhead City, AZ 86442 between Mohave Steak House and Auto Zone was packed with Bullhead City Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Mayor Tom Brady and council member Dr. Zehri along with several other people from the community. The Ribbon Cutting was held at noon today and it was great to see another small business opening in our community.

Riverside Pharmacy is opening in a space where previous pharmacies have opened and failed. So I asked Sathish some questions I think we all wonder when a business opens here in town.

" Why do you think that your pharmacy will make it when other's have failed?" To which he replied, "Unlike the others I have been serving here for the last 15 years, and I already know the people in this community and what their needs are, we are offering face to face consultations and FREE Home delivery which is needed in our area with an elderly population and such high temperatures."

"How many customers do you have right now?" "We have around 100 customers."

"How many customers do you need to acquire to continue to be sustainable?" "We need around 10 new customers a day."

"How can you offer FREE delivery all the way from Mohave Valley to Laughlin,NV doesn't that cut into your profits?" "Yes, right now it does because we are small, but as we continue to acquire more customers it will balance out, by offering free delivery it allows us to check in on our customers and explain everything to them without them having to leave their homes, it is an important service that will not be going away."

"We will always offer FREE delivery."

"Who delivers to the customers?" "We have a specially trained staff that explains everything and if they or the customer have any questions we are just a phone call away."

  • "When are you open?" Mon-Fri: 8a.m.-6p.m. • Sat: 8a.m.-1p.m • Sun: Closed

"What if customers have questions after business hours?" "They can chat with us through our website https://www.riversidepharmacy.net/ or call and leave a message.
