Everyone is welcome to come to the FREE Food Distribution on May 20, 2023. The distribution will start at 8 AM. The location of the food distribution has changed.
We are no longer distributing from the Bullhead City Council Chambers. Our new location is at Food For Families located at 590 Hancock Rd. which is directly behind Praise Chapel.
Our heart felt thanks and appreciation to the City of Bullhead City for the use of the council chambers these past 8 months. We are looking forward to continuing to serve our community from this new location.
Because of this location change we will now be able to continue to do the third Saturday of the month distributions throughout the summer months. So this program will now be year-round.
Make Bullhead Better has been partnering with Food For Families which partners with St. Mary's Food Bank for the past 8 months since we started doing these monthly distributions. Giving out 25,000-30,000 pounds of food each month.
There will be directional signs and a staging area for the people that come early to stage. You do not need to show any proof of income. You may pick up for as many families as you need.
If you are interested in volunteering to help we encourage community participation.
Friday, May 19 from 4:00-6:00 PM (We will be bagging the non-perishable goods)
Saturday, May 20 from 6:00 -11:00 AM (We will be bagging up the perishable goods and distributing all of the food)
*Bagging will take place at 590 Hancock in the Food For Families Building.
If there are any upcoming community events you would like to be shared with the families that come through the distribution line please drop 400 flyers off any time the week before to the Food For Families office.
